Admin not recieving emails

Hi

I want the admin to recieve emails whenever someone registers with community builder but I don't want them to have to approve registrations.

So far I have:

Configuration > Moderation > Send Moderators Email = YES
Configuration > Moderation > Moderator Groups = Administrator
User Management > Contact Info > Receive Moderator Emails = YES

The admin currently receives no email when someone registers with the site through community builder. Is there some settings that I am missing?

I am aware there is Moderation > Moderator Approve Users = YES. I don't want the admin to have to approve registrations but I set this to yes for testing purposes and they still didn't receive any emails. I checked their spam in case this was the problem but no emails were received.

Could you please advise as to what is going on.

Edit your user within CB > User Management and ensure your user is set to receive emails. Test sending an email to your self from CB > User Management > Mass Mailer to see if you can even receive emails from CB (check spam folder).

Hi

Thanks for the response.

"Edit your user within CB > User Management and ensure your user is set to receive emails."

User Management > Contact Info > Receive Moderator Emails = YES
(As mentioned in my previous post this setting is set to yes)


Test sending an email to your self from CB > User Management > Mass Mailer to see if you can even receive emails from CB (check spam folder).

In mass mailer there seems to be only an option to mail to everyone and I am working with a existing user database with real users that would not appreciate a random email.

Check the checkbox next to your user only then click Mass Mailer. You should see that it's only going to email to your email address. Test to see if the email sends to you ok. You can also filter the list down to just your self and click Mass Mailer.

The Admin email is currently set to my email and I did receive the mass email.

Strange, so you can receive emails perfectly fine yet new registrations approval emails never reach you. Are the approval emails being placed in your spam folder by chance?
