-When i people go to index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers they meet.
-Then they receive the email awaiting approval.

We have received your request and we will process it as soon as
you confirm your email address by clicking on the
following hyperlink:
[CONFIRM]etc...

-In that mail i put a url (my welcome page or whatever)instead of [CONFIRM]

-When they click on it opens a page of my website. It said :Login or register to edit your profile.

-When they try to log themeselves they have the same message.

I already go to cb<configuration<registration to do a configuration.

So why it don't work?

Thank you.

ps:I read the document if we talk about the same chapter 3.2 registration tab.

You have registration approval and confirmation enabled. You need to use [CONFIRM] if you have confirmation enabled so they can click the link to confirm their account. For admin approval you need to approve their registration from backend or on frontend using the moderator module.

This is explained within your documentation on pages 50-56 where it shows you diagrams for the various registration workflows step by step. The moderator module is explained on page 24 and is relevant if you have admin approval enabled. The registration configuration tab and its parameters are explained in detail starting on page 42.

Users can not login until their account is confirmed and approved. You see their current status within CB > User Management (you can also force them confirmed/approved here too as well as edit them).

I already read all of this.
And i still not find for what reaeson users can't log themselves.

Require admin approval is set to no
Require email confirmation is set to yes.

So after they receive the pending approval mail with a url. They should be capable to log.

There is something to do with the fact that i use the cb pro quickstart 1.3 package?
Even i don't think so ,i really don't understand why it don't work.

In the diagram I am blocked at "applicant confirms email by clicking on the embedded url link."

I don't see what's wrong with my configuration, so maybe the link or anything else
But i already read the document twice and it don't help me.

Thank you

You need to click the confirmation link to confirm your account. You can then login. You need to have [CONFIRM] in the Pending email as it's what generates and adds the confirmation link. You can not add your own custom confirmation link.

So you say i can not add my own custom confirmation link.
And you say i should add the "confirmation link". So where can i find that "confirmation link"?

Thank you

Add [CONFIRM] (literally that exact string) to the Pending email as configured within CB > Configuration > Registration. Once done, register, and you'll receive an email with a link in it. Click that link to confirm the registration.
