This option allows the profile owner to either be restricted by the subscription as well or allow the profile owner to always see the tab. If I set it to "Yes" for example they'll always see the tab regardless of their subscription status. So for your usage it should be set to "No".Still Available for Profile Owner himself: No: profile owner himself is also restricted
is this the option you are saying will show tabs to owner on own profile ..hide from those without plan access to the tab..but viewers without plan access can still view others who do?
CBSubs doesn't touch name. Please check that you're not changing name with CBSubs Fields integration or maybe a bad database query in CBSubs SQL Actions. The usergroup will only assign on active subscription. If your plan is free lifetime then it won't run integrations unless you've setup CBSubs within CBSubs > Settings > Global to create subscriptions for free lifetime plans.Now my bigger issues..
under the access tab within plan...i have it set to assign user to group upon subscribing to a plan...
upon subscribing to plan....it not only does not add user to group but it also removes his name from the user manager...

We do not do configuration, that is outside the scope of support. We do offer installation services though, please see Membership tab of your Joomlapolis profile. Alternatively please review the CBSubs documentation carefully as it explains multiple usecases as well as what each parameter does and basic plan setup information.that is far out of my scope..with out help or being walked though..was just hoping to set a plan and use the plan...can you help please..i gave you my info...
I've no idea, CBSubs does not touch name. The only way it could is if you're using CBSubs Fields or CBSubs SQL Actions to alter the users profile information. Disable CB Paid Subscription within CB > Plugin Management and perform a test registration to see if it's still happening even without CBSubs.the name is being removed...this absolutely happens during the plan subscription transaction...
also...3 time mentioning this ..it is not adding my user to the group...the plan is free..but it is 1 month..as it is temporarily free until i get it working.... can you please help me understand what is not working

I apologize, I was under the impression you wanted me to configure your CBSubs installation for you, which we do not do as a part of normal support. We certainly do investigate possible bugs and issues though.wait a minute...i just paid you guys close to 300 dollars..i purchased your pro package and your cbsubs...ive had several membership softwares and have been a joomla and cb user for a long time..ive gotten planty of help for 20 dollar softwares when needed..
Ive followed every step..that youve mentioned and also in your documentation...your software is not working properly..I need this to work..
Please PM backend super administrator login credentials as well as exact steps to duplicate your issue and will take a look.you guys really cant look into my issue?
