Hello:
Use editor text area fields type in Community Builder profile edition.
JCE works well here to insert images, but media manager (jce plugin to embed videos) no.
Insert a Youtube video in the field and to update profile, the video is removed from the field.
Also use Media Manager in joomla articles for my site, and there it works fine. So I think it's not jce configuration problem.
By default CB strips certain HTML tags for security purposes. You'll probably need to whitelist object and embed elements within CB > Configuration > User Profile and adjusting the "Do not filter following tags on editor area fields:" parameter as needed. Also keep in mind some of those editor plugins use Joomla content bots to process them. CB does not parse fields with Joomla content bots so those editor features will do nothing.

CB doesn't allow iframes by default so you'll need to whitelist the iframe element. Please see the parameter location I've provided in my above reply as it explains the usage in the parameters description.

Ok, put the iframe tag and it works perfect.
I have a similar problem with anchors and pagination: they work in joomla articles but do not work in text area field CB editor

You can replace the text editor in plugin CB profile book/tab blog by the editor of joomla?

CB does not parse Joomla content bots on CB fields. So you won't be able to use those.

You can't, it uses a built in BBCode editor.
