Could you please confirm that the conditions set in place, will not switch itself back to the original settings? Seems like it happened on the system that I am working on.
Conditionals are saved to the database with the action row. They do not change on update of the plugin.

Usually the best way to do that is have a CB Field that you update and condition against to prevent it from sending if said field has a value.
