Payment gateway not showing on the frontend

Membership registration application is available on the frontend. However, once a registrant registers the payment gateway is not available. Consequently, when I go to the baskets it states that payment is not initiated. Any suggestions of what I should look at to ensure that the payment gateway is set up properly would be appreciated. Thank you.

Membership registration application is available on the frontend. However, once a registrant registers the payment gateway is not available.

Navigate to CBSubs > Gateways and ensure your payment gateway is enabled and Public access. Some gateways only allow single payments while others also allow recurring payments. If your plans within CBSubs > Plans force the requirement of recurring payments for a gateway that only supports single payments then you won't be able to use that gateway. Please see your CBSubs documentation for further details.

Consequently, when I go to the baskets it states that payment is not initiated.

This is normal. It won't go into unpaid status until a gateway button is clicked in the basket.

Thank you so much for responding to my issue. This is a site that had Community Builder installed before without CB Subs. I just added CBSubs to the site. The payment buttons are visible if a member is renewing their membership but not visible if it is an application for a new membership. I checked and the payment gateway is enabled with public access. Also, there is no recurring payments available for this site. All payments are single payment status. I'm thinking I need to uninstall CBSubs and Community Builder and reinstall them. Seems like I have not had this issue when CB and CBSubs were installed at the same time. This is the first time I have installed CBSubs quite a while after I had installed CB. Thank you for any suggestions you might have for me.

What do you mean they're not showing up? No plans on registration at all? or no payment buttons when viewing a basket after registering? If no buttons then you've a permissions issue. Ensure CBSubs and its gateway plugins within CB > Plugin Management are public and published. Then check within CB > Tab Management and ensure the Subscriptions tab is public and published. Next edit your gateways within CBSubs > Gateways and ensure they're set to allow single payments at the very least or set to user choice.

When I click on the menu item "Register" a registration form opens. The plans are listed and I can select the plan that I want. I fill out all of my profile information and at the bottom of the page is a 'register' button. I click on the 'register' button and it goes directly to a 'thank you' page. It does not go to the payment options of PayPal or Pay offline. Both of these options are set up.

Do they have an active subscription at that point? It sounds like you have a free trial or a promotion that's making the plan free automatically.
