You could set a field using CBSubs Fields to have a value unique to each plan. Then using CB Auto Actions add them to as many groups as you want with a conditional to check the field for a relevant value that you set using CBSubs Fields. This works around the 5 limit of CBSubs as CB Auto Actions has unlimited. The problem is that I have more than 10 subcategories nested. And cbsubs only could add the user -when registered in a plan- to 5 GJ Groups automatically. And doing it manually is not a good option for us.
In Kunena? You can't. Kunena doesn't have the API to limit read access and write access separately. I believe it was recently added in Kunena 3.0, but I have no written a model specifically for 3.0 that could utilize such API if it infact exists and works. Last time I tried it did not work (and reported that it did not work, so perhaps working soon or now).I have another question: How can I let guests to see all the categories and their posts, including those categories from GJ. They should see the posts and the category (in the category tab), but not adding or replying to posts.
GJ Category forums are only accessible if a user belongs to a group, owns a group in that category, or the forum tab is set to public for that category. Also check within GJ > Config > Integrations > Forum > General that "Categories" is set to "Show".GJ Kunena integration seems to make GJ categories to dissapear, and I don't found the option to give permissions to guests for reading those posts. As in your categories for professional, developer, etc. We could watch the category and read the posts, even when we are not logged in. But to write we need to be suscribed and logged.
