OK I get it.

If you guys decide to work on this maybe you could post the fact in this link here?

Again it seems to me to be pretty obvious that I can change this option.

The way it is set up now reminds me of linear tape editing.

You had a player and a recorder. You made an edit and an edit and an edit and if you decided after 5 edits that you did not like the second edit you had to go back and undo all your work. That is why people moved over to Non Linear Editing, 20 years ago.

I've already implemented the ability to change a fields type in next release. We didn't have it implemented previously, because previously it wasn't as easy to do so. There is also risk of losing data (if you change a text field to a date field, you lose all the values your users supplied to that field!) so an alert will be thrown when attempting to change type to inform you of this when changing type in next release.

I'd like to be beta/RC testing by end of next month, but we'll see. I'll also need to release new versions of at least half of the incubator projects to be up to date with new CB release (our jQuery library is now completely up to date in next release).
