problem with email verification

problem with email verification was created by bucknla
I'm having a problem with my community build not sending out the correct email verification URL. My URL looks like this:


http://../joomla/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=confirm&confirmcode=&Itemid=496


looking at the URL I noticed its missing the value for the confirmcode as I've marked in red.

Could you tell me where this code is coming from in Community Builder and what to do to fix this? Thanks.

Ensure email confirmation is enabled within CB > Configuration. If you're forcing confirmation with CBSubs then it'll send a blank confirmation code if CB it self does not have confirmation enabled.

confirmation is enabled in CB and has always been. So what's the next step here? How do we fix this?

If you have CBSubs enabled then disable it within CB > Plugin Management. Next do a test registration to see if the confirmation code is present in the URL. This will tell us if CBSubs is conflicting or not.

Also would a reinstallation of community builder fix what wrong?

No idea, but you can try. Be sure to test a registration after disabling CBSubs first to see if it's conflicting.
