problem with email verification

I turned off the cbsubs plugin and did a registration and I got error 42 so it still does not work.

CBSubs isn't the conflict then. If you're getting an actual error you need to provide the full error message here. Be sure to enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then re-test and provide any errors you receive during your test.

I did as you asked i disabled the cbsubs plugin to see if the email verification would work but when I turned off the cbsubs plugin, I created a new account and still the email verification is still blank code in the same place.....so what's the next step?

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then re-test for any errors during the registration process. If you're using CB Auto Actions try disabling it then re-test as perhaps once of your actions is causing issues.

I don't see any errors in your text document. All those messages appear normal. Errors are actual error messages thrown with an error number, code line, and a message. Those are normal system messages displayed during registration and purchase process.

The substitutions not working in some of them is likely just a configuration problem. Plan substitutions will only work from the CBSubs emails configured in your plans and on the Presentation tab (or CBSubs Email integration tab). They will not work in the CB > Configuration > Registration emails.

The [DETAILS], [CONFIRM], etc.. substitutions will also only work from system notification emails. Meaning the Pending and Welcome emails within CB > Configuration > Registration. Specifically the Pending email should contain [CONFIRM].
