[SOLVED] emailing moderators

I want the system to email me when new users register. I would think this is part of the CB moderator capability. CB is set up to email moderators on actions. moderators set at admin and above. Email addresses are correct. Still no emails sent to moderator.

Am I missing something? thanks!

Did you check "receive system emails" (user management) for moderators?

Are emails sending at all for your site? Test registration and ensure you're receiving the pending or welcome email at the very least. If not then emails aren't sending and you'll want to check your Joomla mailer settings. Try using the Mass Mailer within CB > User Management after clicking your users checkbox (so it only sends to you) and try sending an email to your self.

I have the same problem. I'm testing a new website locally using EasyPhp 5.4.6. I'm working on Joomla 2.5.14 with CB 1.9.1.
The problem is that user registration emails, both with Joomla registration form and CB registration form, works perfectly, but the Mass Mail utility and the moderators mail doesn't seem to be working.
I have configured both php.ini and Joomla for one of my smtp servers but with no results!

Does Joomlas mass mailer even work? Note when using SMTP for CB be sure to append the Port to the Host. See the below gMail configuration as example.

Joomla's mass mail works just fine!
I don't understand what's happening!
