I wrote a migration script for jUpgrade when it was first coming out that did this automatically, but since then I've no idea what has happened to jUpgrade to make it so unreliable...

krileon wrote: I don't know what happened to it, sorry. We contacted them when it was first being released for assistance in creating the script, but received little except an example or two, but I managed to make it functional. It was then sent to them to be included in jUpgrade.

I don't recall, sorry. Regardless I'm sure they were just busy as to be bothered by 1 extension. This is often the issue with major developers such as us, lack of time.Them = matware or redcomponents ?
I don't have it anymore and it probably wouldn't be of any use at this point, sorry.BTW, can you provide your script and the important details somewhere?
SPUpgrade does pretty good for migrating Joomla core. Even as far as maintaining user ids, which is really important for CB. Fixing the usergroups and view access levels is made 2-3 days of work, but if user ids weren't matched then it's a nightmare. So it maybe best to migrate then just manually check your usergroups and view access levels throughout CB.I am going to play with SPupgrade and Jinfinity soon. I will try to encourage (bother) them. If it makes sense to implement a script/conversion into their workflow. They seem to be different.
