Hi, I've rebuilt the site and now I find that I cannot get login access for members or superusers. For members I get a messages that says : WARNING

You have successfully logged in
If I go to My Profile in the menu ... It says:
Please log in or register to view or modify your profile.
If I login as a Superuser I get a 404 error.
This time the registration process is great but the login is the problem.
Anyone who may be able to advise or assist, nothing I found in the forums seems to be relevant.
Latest version Joomla and CBPro and CBSubs.
Thanks

Ensure you've a public and published Joomla menu link to CBs profile page. This link is mandatory and always must be present for its Itemid. It will also determine component access. Once done ensure profile access within CB > Configuration > User Profile is set properly (best left as "Everybody" or "Registered").

OK checked all of that and it was so ... but moved All Registred to Everyone and tried again ... still get a You cannot Access the private area of this site ?
If the message is "You cannot access the private section of this site." exactly then that's entirely Joomla. You've a menu usage issue. Disable all SEO and review the Itemid in the URL when the issue occurs. Then find the menu item with that Itemid and set it public and published.

OK so I've done all you've mentioned, however ...
- the menu item is public and published
- the menu appears on the registration page, all profile and CB related pages
- whether I keep SEO on or off ... still get the same message
- whether I keep the site gzipped or not ... still get the same message
- registered user cannot access the site
- super user I get an initial 404 on the site and then if I refresh or go back it takes me to my login profile
Anything you can add to help me resolve this I would sincerely be grateful as I've been working on CB for more than a month and rebuilt the site and still cannot get it to work correctly.
Ensure all your login redirects are correct. Edit your login modules and make sure all login redirects begin with index.php and are non-SEF. Next ensure first time login redirect is also correct within CB > Configuration > Registration. Aside from that it's a standard Joomla menu usage issue that I can't really help with any further. Joomla throws a 404 when you can't access the menu item or the destination doesn't exist.
