I have done everything you mention, and all of it is correct. Yet I still have 2 messages that come up. You say one of them is a menu issue with Joomla ... yet I have it set up exactly the same way I had it before and even if I don't set the login to redirect to anything it still results in this error.

I have now been searching for this 'error' for a week!

I have attached a screen shot as I don't understand if one is a Joomla error then what is the other?

I have additionally deleted menus and menu modules and started from scratch and still no success. There is no indication of this error to be found on Joomla except some dating back to 2005/09 which I would not assume to be relevant.

After spending all the money and time on CB I am increasing disappointed.
Oh and even though I have changed my email address on my account I still do not receive notifications.!!??

The error being output is JERROR_LOGIN_DENIED. This is output by Joomla and not CB. CB has absolutely no control over it. This happens when login permission check fails. Check your permissions within Site > Global Configuration > Permissions and ensure your usergroup has "Site Login" permission set to "Allowed". I've no idea how it could be set to denied by default unless you're using a new usergroup that is parented to Public, which you should not do; always parent new usergroups to at least Registered so it can inherit.

THANK YOU, this was precisely the issue, I also have no idea why site login was set to denied, never having touched these settings. Nonetheless I can now FINALLY login.
