The Activity tab is visible when I look at other member's profiles (CB Activity) but it isn't a visible tab included on my own profile (CB Menu). Seems like the wrong way round?? How can I include the activity tab on member's own profile?
Check "Access" parameter within CB Activity > Config > Tab > General as it's likely set to something the user can't access.

No this doesn't seem to be the issue. When I go to /index.php/profile-edit the activity tab does not show. But when I go to /userprofile/clarew I can see this person's activity - eventhough I have selected in CB Activity tab display 'Self Only'

Activity doesn't show in profile edit. It has nothing to edit. It's profile view only.

On your profile. What activity the tab shows is up to you. You can set this within CB Activity > Config > Tab > General. Set "Display" to "Self Only" and "Access" to "Self Only" then only you will see your activity tab, which will only have your activity.
