I am running CB 1.9.1 under Joomla 3.2.1

A few days ago I run the user sync tools, which gave no errors.

But since then, when I try to ADD any new user with CB users management, I got the error message "You cannot demote yourself from your Super User permission", while I am just trying to add a (normal) user, not change my own webmaster profile !

I am quite worried that my CB is broken/corrupted in some ways.

What can it be ??

Thanks !

Yannick

It says "Edit" in the page title. Are you sure you clicked the "New" button? Clicking the "Edit" button or clicking a user in their row will also edit them. I'm not able to duplicate your issue

Very good comment !

Indeed I press NEW but I I get into an EDIT dialog, editing what seems like my own user, but not really because all the information from my profile are missing !!

See a screencam here: screencast.com/t/9dT2tQYa

Very very weird !

Have reviewed your install and I can't see any reason for this to be happening. Is this a migration install? Was CB modified at all? Please re-install CB 1.9.1 over top of it self then see if issue persists.

It was an upgrade from Joomla 2.5. We have not hacked CB in any ways.

We are going to try re-installing 1.9.1 as you are suggesting and see how it goes. Cross fingers !
