CB LOGIN redirect error - The page isn't redirecting properly

I am new to CB Pro. When I login to CB using CB Login, I get the following error.

"The page isn't redirecting properly:
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

I've checked the cookies and they are ok.

Then when I try to access the web site again, the web site can't be found. I have to Quit Firefox and start again.

Is there a setting that I'm missing ? I've read through the tutorials and can't seem to figure out what's wrong.

Yes, I downloaded CB Pro from there and installed the zip file with the extension manager.

I am also getting a few PHP warnings on my Extension Manager.
The PHP temporary directory is not set
The PHP temporary directory is the directory that PHP uses to store an uploaded file before Joomla! can access this file. Whilst the directory not being set isn't always a problem, if you are having issues with manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting this in your php.ini file might fix the issue.

PHP Upload Size bigger than POST size
The value of the upload_max_filesize in the php.ini file is greater than the post_max_size variable. The post_max_size variable will take precedence here and block requests larger than it. This is generally a server misconfiguration when trying to increase upload sizes. Please increase the upload_max_filesize to at least match the post_max_size variable or vice versa

Hopefully this may give you a few clues on why logins are crashing my page and why I can't see any profiles.

Edit your CB Login modules within Extensions > Module Manager and set the Login Redirect to be empty. Next navigate to CB > Configuration > Registration and set "First Login Redirect" also to empty. Now re-retry and see if issue persists. If it does then enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration and attempt to login to see if any fatal errors are output.

Thank you ... I tried what you said and when I try to login, now I get this error on the page and then I have to close then reopen Firefox to have access again to the web page.

I will turn on the debugger next and let you know what I find.

Tried to login as a different user and did the same thing. When I look at the user list, I see that 'Gravity Chick' is online. It looks like the login is accepted but it then crashes the site.

I turned on the debugger but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Here are some of what I'm seeing. It seems to me that my Joomla base / gantry template (rt_graffito) is some how interfering with this. Not an expert so I need some help here.
