Hi,
I have 2 accounts :
- Super administrator (group)
- Administrator (group)
When a user signs up I receive an email on the super administrator account but never in administrator account.

I want the email to be sent only to the administrator account

Thanks

You need to:

1. Select Administrator group in the CB Configuration -> Moderation tab
2. Edit your superadmin to not receive moderation emails (CB User Manager -> COntact info tab)

It's ok. The email was spam in my client.

You mean that administrator use does not get email or do you mean that superuser continues to get emails?

Hello,

I am having the same issue on our sites, i will explain how we have our sites set-up and that we have been doing it this way for many years on our old Joomla 1.5 sites with community builder and we have never had a problem.

Our new sites are Joomla 3.3.0 and CB 1.9.1.

Super Admin is set to disapproved (So they do not appear in the members lists and set to not receive system e-mails as this is only a support account)

Administrator is set to receive system e-mails as they are the site owner.

What we have found is this! If the Super Admin account is in the Disapproved state then none of the system e-mails will go out, however if the Super Admin account is approved then the e-mails are sent correctly to the administrator of the site.

Why would this be? as in our previous sites we always had it set this way and we never had a problem in our Joomla 1.5 sites.

Is this intentional? or is there a way for us to have our user not appear in the members list but have the system e-mail still function?

Thanks for all your help.

Alan
