imaaxx wrote: Hello Nat,

Ok this is what i did, i created a new field called Exclude from lists, it is a single check box. I set it to not be visible in profile and read only, and selected this for our SA account. Then in the lists when i set the filter i set it to filter if NULL. I did not see an option to select the non checked, did i do something wrong? It does seem to work so not sure if im missing something or if this is the right way.

Thanks
Alan

Just filter your list to only show those that have this field set to something not equal to 1.

OK so that works too, not sure what the difference is as they both seem to work. Would love to understand why you set it that way.

Thanks again for all your help!

Reason it should be set to Not Equal To 1 is a field is null until it finally has a value and in the case of checkbox fields it can be NULL or 0 to indicated unchecked. Conditioning Not Equal To 1 handles both NULL and 0 case, while your IS NULL usage only handles 1 of those.
