Super Admin is set to disapproved (So they do not appear in the members lists and set to not receive system e-mails as this is only a support account)

Best to not filter this way - just create a new CB field (e.g., cb_listshow) and filter off this in your user list to only show users that have this field checked.

Hello,

Is there no better way of hiding the Super admin user? Since we only want to hide that user. We don't want another field that requires more work for the site admin. In our Joomla 1.5 sites this was never an issue.

Plus im not really sure how to filter off that field, again we don't want to create more work for the site admin. This needs to be simple.

Thanks
Alan

OK well i have done what you suggested and it does work, while its a lot of configuring to achieve this. We would love a simpler way to get this done if one exists.

Thanks

Alot of configuring?

1. Create a check box field called exclude from lists (you do not even have to put this in a for show profile tab)
2. edit your superadmin from backend and check this field.
3. filter your userlist to show all non checked users.

Hello Nat,

Ok this is what i did, i created a new field called Exclude from lists, it is a single check box. I set it to not be visible in profile and read only, and selected this for our SA account. Then in the lists when i set the filter i set it to filter if NULL. I did not see an option to select the non checked, did i do something wrong? It does seem to work so not sure if im missing something or if this is the right way.

Thanks
Alan
