GJ synchronization, users dont see their invitation into the profile automatically

Well...to business.

I have a problem with GJive synchronation. (...I think :blush: )

When user recieve an invitation to the group, make a registration procces but dont join any group automatically. Cant see any group. :huh:





And if he try to go to the email and clic on the link to join, recieve a message: "No Authorized"

If both user are registered, dont have any problem, the guest recieve the invitation in his profile and join without problem.

Because i have the rigth configuration: "AVAILABLE TO ALL REGISTERED USERS"

What happen, it is a sync problem? How can I solve it?

I was using all the tools into Management Tools of CB and everything is green and look ok.

Im running GJ 2.7.0 (clean install) and CB 1.9 in Joomla 2.5.20

GJ doesn't do any kind of synchronization. So don't understand the issue. If a user is invited to join a group they should receive either an Email or a PM with a link to click to join. If they're logged in when they click the link it'll cause them to join in the same way navigating to the group and clicking the join link works. CB Invites does not show GJ invites. For GJ invites you should have an Invites tab under the Groups tab that can be enabled within GJ > Config > Tabs > Invites if not already enabled.

I dont use CB invite, I use GJ invite.

Im gonna show you all the invitation procces into my web site:

User create a group called pow party:



Then decide invite some friend:



and send the invitation to email:



Good! show pending!



The other user, the guest, recieve an email whith the invitation. Register using the same email, enter in his profile and see that:







WHERE IS THE INVITATION?? WHY USER INVITED DONT SEE THE INVITATION ANYWHERE?? "THATS THE PROBLEM"

The GJ invites should automatically accept when the user registers with the same email address that the invites were sent to. This assumes "Auto Accept" is set to "Enable" within GJ > Config > Groups > Invites > General.

Right now GJ invites don't use their invite code (but do generate one). So the matching is done purely with email address. If the user registers with an email address different than the one the invites were sent to then they won't accept and they won't show on the "Invited To" tab.

There also could be a bug present with this workflow that I've already fixed for next release. I can't recall as has been awhile since focusing on GJ (will be updated after CB 2.0).

I allways have this option "ENABLE"

I allways use the "SAME EMAIL"

And Im not crazy, I have another user who can view groups in profile perfect, owner and guest:

You can see that into GJ/USERS



Take a look at 7 line: Guillermo Vazquez dont have any problem to join to "super cumple de mile" Did you see, 8 days ago I dont have any issue.

The tab isn't showing the group because it's bugged. It's checking access, but the user has no access yet so it won't show the group. This is fixed for next GJ release or you can try performing the below quickfix to remove the access check.

There maybe other bugs associated with this workflows. I'll know more when preparing next release after CB 2.0 goes stable. There are a lot of planned major changes and bug fixes for next major release.
