If you're displaying the field using a delimiter field then it can't hide [FIELD_NAME] usages as those are raw user object values. You need to use the below substitution format for CB Privacy to protect them.
[cb:userfield field="FIELD_NAME" /]

If you're substituting fields into a delimiter field and the fields that you're substituting have privacy settings then you need to use that substitution usage as [FIELD_NAME] usage is raw PHP value and won't be protected by CB Privacy.

Have patience, I can not seem to solve the problem. Let me explain again what I would do. I have a field type "Fields delimiter" that hide with CB Conditional based on the value returned in a query field. The "Fields delimiter" in the user profile is hidden, in the user list no. Here we do not use CB Privacy.

Sorry, I meant CB Conditional (both hide fields basically the same way). Do other fields hide on userlist or just the delimiter field not hiding? This maybe the same bug that affected CB Privacy not hiding fields on userlist. Have created a bug ticket to investigate for next release.
