How to set the privacy plugin to not show up in front end registration?

I dont have any other proposal since I am not a really a coder, I only can tell when something does not work but not why.

I wasn't asking for code.

Was asking for wording and visual effect that you would feel is not confusing for your users.

putting this next to the field instead of the mighty dropdown would help I'd say:

- display the default icon on page load
- switch the icons onClick
- put an explanation in the tooltip (which of course must work for touch devices as well)

CB Privacy already has icons directly in its button. It changes based off the privacy setting. For example if it's private then the icon is a lock.

Currently the only way to hide the privacy settings from registration is to use CSS. However, there's already a feature ticket to implement a parameter to disable its registration display.

Please ensure you're using the latest release of CB Privacy (3.1.0) as it sounds like you maybe using the old legacy privacy plugin.

Did you ever try to use it? Tell your mom to use it and wait what happens ... she is scared to death... there is a drop down that contains a button, there is a delete button inside that button, there is a select option underneath that you can click on ... the one button disappears on click ... holy moly ... which human being is supposed to understand this??? In my experience with non techy users only administrators know how to tame that beast. A normal user does not even dare to touch that thing.

Yes, I now do hide it on reg via css, although that feels quite dodgy.

Yes, of course I've used it. I wrote the plugin. I appreciate your feedback and will look into significantly improving its UI for its next release. I've added a feature ticket so I don't forget.
