There's probably a missing language import, but that feature is completely remove in next release. You'd need to edit the plugins source code and try adding a cbimport( 'language.front' ) to force it to load frontend language files. For CB 2.0 we better handle auto loading of language so such calls aren't needed anymore. If the language files are loaded then the adding of the string to your language file is still incorrect; you do not declare a new $CBStrings, but just add to the existing strings array.
