If you've CBSubs modifying usergroups and CB Auto Actions also modifying usergroups you are almost for certain going to hit conflicts. Use either/or, but not both as they're both trying to change the users usergroups.

A nice feature for CB Subs next version would be to be able to multi-select the "Subscribers User access level settings" User Groups. Then the auto actions wouldn't be needed.

We've plans to extend the usergroup management built into CBSubs with a future release.

Hi Kyle,

I removed CB Subs plan from changing the user group and made a new auto action that is supposed to remove both user groups from the user. It didn't remove either user group from the user. It is like Remove Usergroups is not working.

Here is what I used for the Auto Action:
Type: Usergroup
Triggers: onCPayUserStateChange
User: Automatic
Conditionals: [var3] Less than or Equal to 2
[var2] Equal to X
User Group Actions Mode: Remove Usergroups
Group: Member, Officiant

The plan that the user had has an id of 1.

Not sure where to go from here to get this functionality to work.

It's bugged I guess. I'm already in the middle of upgrading CB Auto Actions so I don't know what to tell you at this time. I'll be retesting all non-deprecated actions and upgrading their PHP usage. So once I get to the Usergroup action I'll know if this functionality is bugged or not.

Hi Kyle,

Did you find a bug in the Remove Usergroup code when you were updating Auto Actions?
Just wanted to know if there is something I can fix on the current version to get this to work?

The Usergroup action has been upgraded already. The removal of usergroups is tested as working.

Hi Kyle,

I am using Auto Actions 5.1.3 and that is what is still on Joomlapolis as the latest version, so I don't understand what you mean by Usergroup action has been upgraded already?

Removal of the usergroup is not working for me on CB 1.9.1.

Is there a newer Auto Actions version somewhere to get?
