I am using Auto Actions 5.1.3 and that is what is still on Joomlapolis as the latest version, so I don't understand what you mean by Usergroup action has been upgraded already?

CB Auto Actions is being upgraded for a new major release for CB 2.0. The Usergroup action and all the other actions have been completely upgraded. I've retested the Usergroup action and all of its modes are working fine.

Is there a newer Auto Actions version somewhere to get?

No, not yet.

No.

What do I do until it is ready?

I don't know. I can't see any reason for it to not work in the current release either, but it could be due to user object double store going on. I suppose you could use a Query action and alter the usergroup map database directly, but that's not really recommended.
