Problem Upgrading 1.9 to v2

Not to interfere with gwivoip's support request. I would just like to add that we are experiencing something similar. After upgrading from 2.0 RC3 to 2.0 Stable, in Joomla 3.3.6 Control Panel we are being requested to upgrade to CB 2.O RC3? Returning to CB Control Panel, the request is to upgrade to the latest version 1.9.1, even though the current version is 2.0?

May I ask when the plugins will be updated to function, especially CBSubs and GroupJive?

The message to upgrade to CB 2.0 RC3 should clear itself up once the version checker propagates. I have a CB 2.0 RC3 site here and it now gives me a proper upgrade to CB 2.0 message and also my CB 2.0 installs does not give me a new upgrade message. So I expect that it will clear-up for you also.

Also when posting somewhere please try and provide as must information as possible.

For example I have no idea which Joomla version you had and if you had previously upgraded to a CB 2.0 RC release or directly to CB 2.0 stable.

Also what do you mean by entire site?

Frontend also?

Try turning on Joomla debug at max level and see what messages pop up.

You have to understand, when something like this shuts down a site, you go into panic mod trying to get someone to help you. So yes, I was trying everywhere I could to get some help. It took 20 hours before I finally got a response. I ended up having to restore the site to get it back up and running.

Apparently, several people are having this issue so I dont know what to do.

I was going from 1.9.1 to the new 2.0 and got the same error message as above

Completely shut down my front end, and back end was somewhat working but wold do nothing in CB.

It should my whole site down. I ended up having to restore my site loosing all the updates I did over the last 2 days because my host missed 1 day of back-ups.

I re-tried installing 2.0 about 4 times with the same result before I gave up.

I want to use the new 2.0 but I am scared if I load it again, I will loose more data during a restore.
