What specifically don't you like? It takes a little work to get your plugins up to date and adjust a few configurations, but aside from that there shouldn't be too much headache. Even your profile can still look and function like CB 1.x if you wanted (the canvas layout and tab positions are completely optional).I've actually already done that. And I don't like the outcome. Not to say that I don't like CB 2... I love the new version and am using it on a new site.
CB 1.x isn't supported now. We can help with issues as best as possible, but there will be no more CB 1.x releases. New plugin releases also will not work on CB 1.x.How long will CB 1.9 be supported before an upgrade is 100% necessary?

This is true we did completely rewrite our modules. Our login modules now nearly 1:1 matches Joomlas. Our core modules also completely support Joomla template layouts so it's possible now to style the module to fit perfectly in your Joomla templates styling.from styles (classes/ids) changing on the login module
A lot of plugins actually became a part of the core. CB Blogs, CB Forums, and CB Articles just to name a few. Below is a compatibility chart for upgrading those that didn't merge into the core. Our goal is to develop new plugins, stabilize them, then merge them into the core gradually; this should, over time, improve the core of CB it self.many installed CB plugins being included or [maybe] no longer available
Not sure what notifications you're referring to. You'd need to further clarify as this could be a bug.I see notifications not showing up
That used to be a part of our core language files, but we decided it's best that non-core plugin language strings be handled in their own language files. You can fix this manually by adding the language string back in. It'll also be fixed when CB ProfileGallery is upgraded for CB 2.x (I'll be upgrading it after this new CB Auto Actions feature release is done).one of the language calls not showing (_UE_PROFILE_GALLERY) on one of the tabs.
I see, in that case I'd just stick with CB 1.x unless the client wants to upgrade and is willing to cover the cost. Maybe something to propose after the site is done.Any work on this site at this point is too much work. I just don't have the budget from the client to do all this after the site has been done and is already a little over budget (because of the client, not because of your extension). But that happens when the client asks you to change the same thing like 50 times (for example). So, maybe I'll offer it to them as a separate package after the development is [finally] finalized. Or if it ever gets to the point when it's really needed.
