CB Login Redirect Issue

CB Login Redirect Issue was created by playerocity
Hello.

I have the CB Login installed on all pages of the website. I have the Joomla login completely removed and joomla registration turned off.

THe CB Login works great for logging in, registering, forgot password, etc. However, if someone inserts the incorrect login information they are taken to some page that has a login that does not work properly. It does allow the user to login but gives a message the user doesn't exist.

I have attached a screenshot of the page that it gets recirected to, and what happens after the user correctly logs in from this location. How do i set this up so that if a user incorrectly inserts the login information they are taken to the cb login that works properly?

Using:
Joomla: 3.3
GroupJive: 2.7
CB: 2.0.5

The login page uses the first CB Login module that's published that it can find for its parameters. Check your first CB Login module and see what the Redirect URL is set to. Also check the Itemid in your URL while SEF is disabled then match it against the Joomla menu link and see what page it's trying to send you to exactly.

ok, first cb login has the redirect set to:

index.php/cb-profile/userprofile

and this works perfectly if the user logs in correctly. Problem is if user does not login correctly, does not follow this.

Instead it goes to (with SEF off as you suggested):
/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=login&Itemid=626

Itemid 626 is the CB Login, as per screenshot.
Attached settings of this CB Login as well.

What to do?

If login fails they're supposed to be sent to the login page. So that behavior is correct. Are you saying on their second attempt to login it's trying to send them to the login page again?

What I am saying it is taking them to this login page which I have not created and it doesn't work. I don't know where this ugly page has come from, adn when you try to login there it doesn't work. It brings up the error i showed you.

Thanks

sorry.. I guess I didn't attach the ugly page it takes you to.. here it is.

You try to login from our homepage:
temp.playerocity.com/

and it works perfectly if you login correctly. If you make mistake it takes you to this page:
temp.playerocity.com/index.php/cb-login/login

which i have no control over this page and the login does not work. From here you enter the correct login info and it will give you an error saying the user does not exist, but it does actually login the user.

THanks
