thanks, but you don't know the problems of german language!

in english I have e.g.

6 days ago

in german the best I have until now is:

6 Tage vorher

but that's a really bad german!!!

it should be:

vor 6 Tagen

your help wasn't helpful, sorry!

EDIT MORE: (german is how it should be!)

less than a minute ago = vor weniger als 1 Minute
about a minute ago = vor etwa 1 Minute
4 minutes ago = vor 3 Minuten

@nant: how is this to do in transifex?

The language strings that are a part of core CB are as follows. You'll need to translate them as needed.

Code:
'TIMEAGO_FUTURE' => 'in %s', 'TIMEAGO_PAST' => '%s ago', 'TIMEAGO_LESS_THAN_A_MINUTE' => 'less than a minute', 'TIMEAGO_ABOUT_A_MINUTE' => 'about a minute', 'TIMEAGO_N_MINUTES' => '%d minutes', 'TIMEAGO_ABOUTE_ONE_HOUR' => 'about an hour', 'TIMEAGO_ABOUT_N_HOURS' => 'about %d hours', 'TIMEAGO_A_DAY' => 'a day', 'TIMEAGO_N_DAYS' => '%d days', 'TIMEAGO_ABOUT_A_MONTH' => 'about a month', 'TIMEAGO_N_MONTHS' => '%d months', 'TIMEAGO_ABOUT A_YEAR' => 'about a year', 'TIMEAGO_N_YEARS' => '%d years',

I believe in your case you'd need to adjust the following.

Code:
'TIMEAGO_PAST' => 'vor %s', 'TIMEAGO_N_DAYS' => '%d Tagen',

I am back again with ago translations:
in cb activity it works now best.
But in administrator Community Builder News, there are the same wrong translations and I don't know the place where to put:
'TIMEAGO_PAST' => 'vor %s',
'TIMEAGO_FUTURE' => 'in %s',
'TIMEAGO_LESS_THAN_A_MINUTE' => 'weniger als 1 Minute',
'TIMEAGO_ABOUT_A_MINUTE' => 'etwa 1 Minute',
'TIMEAGO_N_MINUTES' => '%d Minuten',
'TIMEAGO_ABOUTE_ONE_HOUR' => 'etwa 1 Stunde',
'TIMEAGO_ABOUT_N_HOURS' => 'etwa %d Stunden',
'TIMEAGO_A_DAY' => 'einem Tag',
'TIMEAGO_N_DAYS' => '%d Tagen',
'TIMEAGO_ABOUT_A_MONTH' => 'etwa 1 Monat',
'TIMEAGO_N_MONTHS' => '%d Monaten',
'TIMEAGO_ABOUT A_YEAR' => 'etwa 1 Jahr',
'TIMEAGO_N_YEARS' => '%d Jahren',

All of our timeago usages use the same strings. Once you've translated them you shouldn't need to translate them again anywhere else. Are you using a CB language plugin or are you trying to use the override plugin? Override plugin is affected by plugin load order and may not work for backend usage.

sorry, but it seems you're wrong. I added the named translations to the cb activity language files. There it's now ok.

But in But in administrator Community Builder News (Module?), there are the same wrong translations as they were before.
