[SOLVED] Using JCE or other editor on profile tab

If JCE has the option to disable it for specific usergroups or view access levels then you'd do that in JCE. Otherwise you'd disable or change the access to those editor buttons within Extensions > Plugin Manager.

Actually I don't think they are associated with the editor because even when I change the default editor to TinyMCE they still show up. Not sure who is generating them.

Try this then:

Nick,

I really appreciate the feedback I am very confused. I don't understand what you are suggesting I change. I have tested w/ the Global editor set to JCE, to TinyMCE and None and the "articles", "page break" and "read more" buttons always are displayed under the editor text area in the CB profile tab.

Please be more specific, what exactly in the plug in manager are you suggesting I change?

Never mind found it. Button - Article was access Public, changing that to something else removed it from CB Tab
