GroupJive: Hide Users tab from All Users

I hope this is a setting that I can't find.

In a GroupJive group, can I hide the Users tab from all users in the group. I don't care if they see the number of users--I searched and found the solution for that, but I want to hide the Users tab and the list of group users FROM the group users. I don't want a general users to see other users in the group at all.

Do I just hide the tab with CSS?

You would need to modify the main template file for groups. It's responsible for rendering the tabs. You'd need to add to its IF check to make sure the viewing user is the owner or moderator only to avoid it displaying for anyone else. Please see the below file.

Coming back on this old topic, did you add a setting in lastest groupjive release to make this tab conditioned to user groups ?
It would be great to choose display or not according to each group

There's no parameter to toggle off the display of the users tab at this time. That will be added in GJ 4.0.0.

This is a real problem for me, when I started using GJ I told my clients that members of groups would never display publically. Now members names and avatars are being found on a google search is they are part of an open / invite group.

Invite groups are not public. They can't be visibly seen unless you're a member of that group. Use invite groups or change the ACL of your categories to block public access. Your usage doesn't make sense.

GJ 4.0.0 as said in my previous reply. Approval groups will also be changed to hide their content until the join request is accepted. Additional group types will also be coming. This is all noted below.
