Our test is on a completely clean Joomla install with CB installed only. The CB Login or CB Online module is then published. This triggers the issue. With the module unpublished the issue is gone. We know CB is triggering it, but we don't know why CB is triggering it. We're not outputting anything that can remotely cause this. We've even completely removed all our jQuery loading and CSS loading during testing, but issue persists.

So without CB installed, no problem; with CB installed problem. Although CB may not be outputting anything, seems as if it's causing something to require double tap.

Where does that leave us?

Installed and enabled on the page by some means (e.g. one of our modules).

Where does that leave us?

We don't know what's causing this. In our testing we've forced CB to output nothing except an empty UL element and the issue appears. I've no idea what's causing this, but today I'm going to be comparing the entire DOM structure with and without CB loaded to see what kind of difference there is as maybe something is being set in the HTML for whatever reason.

We found it! We found it! It's a bad selector in template.css. Fix is as follows. phpstorm didn't see that CSS as an error or even a warning either so was very hard to track down.

IN: components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/default/template.css
ON: Line 1502
FROM:
Code:
.cb_template .cbButtonMenu .cbButtonMenuItem .cbButtonMenuItemLink :hover {
TO:
Code:
.cb_template .cbButtonMenu .cbButtonMenuItem .cbButtonMenuItemLink:hover {

We're fixing for a new nightly for today.

I always feel bad performing Thread / Bug Necromancy. That being said - I am glad we found and squished this one! I just implemented it on my site, and can confirm it's fixed.
