Sorry, I may not be understanding completely, but it sounds like you are talking about menus. No?

Modules live in module-ville (their home dir). You don't need two to call them from different places.

*looks confused*

It may just be that it's going on 11 at night here. If you don't have Joomla login module published, well, it can't be used.

Better wait for the guys with the big brains -- I have no idea. Sorry.

I'm not sure what is causing the site to prompt me to log into the Joomla component - I thought it was a menu item so I deleted them all. I don't have any Joomla login modules on this site so I'm stumped as to why when I am prompted to log in, I'm shown the Joomla user component and not CB

Make sure that you have latest CB 2.0.10 and that you have published the CB system plugin (in joomla plugin manager).

Also adjust this plugin's parameters if needed.

latest nightly just installed and the CB plugin is enabled and set to these parameters, still being taken to component/users/?view=login:

CB 2.3, CBsubs 4.3, PHP 7.1, J! 3.9.X

Enable Rewrite URLs. Sometimes the component view isn't a redirect that CB can intercept.
