[SOLVED] Knowing user activity was created by beneymard
Hi,

I would please need to know all the activity that happen on my website, meaning:
1) Being able to see the connections that any user has
2) Getting notifications for any friend request sent or accepted with the name of the users
3) Getting notification for any pms sent with the name of the users involved

Thank you!
Benoit

1) Being able to see the connections that any user has

There's no backend management of connections. So the only way to see their connections is check frontend Connetions tab or viewing the _comprofiler_members database table.

2) Getting notifications for any friend request sent or accepted with the name of the users

There's no built in notification for this, but you can act on the after connection triggers with an Email action in CB Auto Actions to send your self an email.

3) Getting notification for any pms sent with the name of the users involved

CB has no control over PMS. That's entirely UddeIM.

Thanks Kyle,

Regarding number 1, is there a way to hide connections of users minus for the super user who could see all the connections?

Thanks,
Benoit

You can use CB Privacy and put a forced privacy controls of Private on the connections tab. That'll allow CB Moderators and the profile owner to see the tab. Alternatively just use the view access level parameter for the tab.

Hi,

I tried what you said but when I go on a profile and click on Connections > Manage connections, I am redirected to MY connections so "index.php/profile/manageconnections" and not on his connections (which I do not know the URL of). Any idea on how to solve this ? I tried playing with the Connections tab a bit but nothing worked.

Thanks,

Pierre

You can't use Manage Connections on another users behalf. There's no functionality at this time to manage a users connections. The link under Connections also reads "Manage Your Connections" unless it was translated to something else.
