Tutorial #22
www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp0puRITgC7PuyzPsMUECDI46VE7IFSAX
Hi Niko,
Thank you for popping herein.
I have followed this tutorial before installing Kunena for the first time and a few times after in order to confirm that I did not do something wrong.
When someone follows the tutorial everything works fine. The problem starts as soon as the J admin decides to add (and publish..) the CB Antispam plugin. If you add that and use the internal code its only THEN that no one can login from the Kunena login form (top of Forum). It just does nothing. No errors, no indication of wrong credentials...nothing. On the other hand, if someone decides to login from the now-protected CB login module, then everything works fine. As you imagine however when someone opens the Forums page its more likely to login from there than choosing the CB login module.
I have reported that to Kunena and they said they will be looking at it but I think you should look at it as well as it only happens after installation of the CB Antispam plugin.
I have put up a new Joomla site with stock template and only those components. Nothing else. Let me know if you want to login there but I will need your public IP since those sites are internal and I don't really want to enable public access yet.
Thank you

I have verified that if you turn on captcha for logins this will break your kunena cb login integration.
Community Builder -> Plugin Management -> CB AntiSpam -> Parameters -> Captcha -> Legacy -> Login -> Disabled
