Kyle,

Thank you for your patience with me. I followed your instructions. All Joomla extensions are up to date.

Here is what I did after:

I deleted the CBSubs GJ plugin, updated the Auto Actions plugin. Frontend gave no errors.

After enabling debug and max error reporting, I get this notice whan loading the homepage in the frontend:

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in
/home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsu
bscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice:

/home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsu
bscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889

But, the site still worked, so I continued...

Installation of the mod_cbgroupgive. It never gave a completion notice, did get an
error, but frontend access still looked as it did before.

After installing plug_cbgroupjive I get this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate
23097507 bytes) in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/plugins/system/debug/debug.php on
line 1141

After this, when loading the fornt end homepage without being logged in I get this
error:

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in

Any ideas based on these messages? Inot cannot login via the front or backend interface.

Ensure all of GJ is up to date. This includes its module, search bot, and CB integrations. There's nothing on line 6 of cbgroupjivewall.php besides a phpdoc comment block. If it's erroring about an include then you have an out of date integration being loaded.

GJ 3.x uninstalls GJ 2.x integrations. So I've no idea how you managed to still have a GJ 2.x integration present on a GJ 3.x install. Navigate to the following location using FTP.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/

Now delete the following folder.

cbgroupjivewall

Next install the GJ 3.x wall integration. Your issue should go away.

Ive followed your instructions, and found all GJ plugins, modules, etc, were indeed up to date. I deleted the GJ wall folder via FTP. Before I try the upgrade again I wanted to check with you about this notice that comes up with the error reporting:

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889

Should this be resolved prior to me attempting the upgrade again?

That's a notice coming specifically from CBSubs Content. Ensure you've latest CBSubs 4.x nightly installed (including its integrations) and see if issue persists. If it does try resaving your plans to see if that'll clear it up. It however is a notice and shouldn't break anything. Please let me know if updating and resave of plans doesn't solve it and will create a bug ticket for further investigation.

Ok... I deleted the folder as you described, checked the integrations, then installed the GJ module. No errors. Frontend and backend were both ok. gjsearchbot went fine. Then started installing the CB plugins one by one. cbgroupevents went ok. cbgroupjivefile went ok.

Then the process didn't go well. Here is what I got:

Error after cbgroupjiveforums Plugin installation:

Warning: Missing argument 3 for cbgjForumsPlugin::saveCategoryForum() in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveforums/cbgroupjiveforums.php on line 310 Notice: Undefined variable: plugin in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveforums/cbgroupjiveforums.php on line 322 Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveforums/cbgroupjiveforums.php on line 322 Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveforums/cbgroupjiveforums.php on line 322

Error after plug_cbgroupjive

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 23829850 bytes) in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/plugins/system/debug/debug.php on line 1141

After this error, the attempting to access backend gives this error:

Warning: require_once(/home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/cbgroupjive.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveabout/cbgroupjiveabout.php on line 6 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/cbgroupjive.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveabout/cbgroupjiveabout.php on line 6

Frontend gives this error:

Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/plugin/cbsubscontent/cbsubs.content_access.php on line 889 Warning: require_once(/home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/cbgroupjive.class.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveabout/cbgroupjiveabout.php on line 6 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/cbgroupjive.class.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/endodon1/public_html/dev/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/plugins/cbgroupjiveabout/cbgroupjiveabout.php on line 6

Neither front or backend will load now.

Those functions don't even exist. How did you install GJ? I don't see how you could possible have GJ 2.x plugins on a GJ 3.x install. GJ 3.x will uninstall them during install. Something is completely wrong with your install. Delete GJ entirely and reinstall. If you can't access backend then delete the below folder

/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive

If you've CBSubs GJ installed then also uninstall it as it's not GJ 3.x compatible. If you've CB Auto Actions installed then ensure it's up to date.
