Very good question.

Thank you timstohr.

CBSubs is not accounting software. You should be getting tax records from your payment processor or your bank directly (anything else is unreliable and a liability to you). In CBSubs a Basket = Invoice. What you're asking isn't a tiny feature, but a massive rewrite of how CBSubs functions. It's not going to happen and if it does it's not happening anytime soon, sorry.

Our accountants are fine with the first invoices of CBSubs and the Paypal statements, but not with the followed. Of course the liability is on us, who else will take it?!

To me it looks like a field and an auto action for the invoice number and a mailer, not like a "massive" rewrite.

Thanks and good luck.

@krileon: With all due respect but it makes no sense to create one invoice in CBSubs und the remaining invoices are not created for recurring payments.

That is a major flaw - maybe you should start using your own system for recurring subscriptions once in a while and you would quickly notice how many flaws there are.

We want to use recurring subscriptions and basically are running from one problem/limitation in to the next one.

This one is so far the worst one. Surely we can hook into the payment process and fake-create additional baskets to create additional invoice - but creating invoices for recurring payment should in all common sense be a basic feature for a software that calls itself a "subscription" management software.
