He gave me onAfterUserRegistration and onAfterNewUser triggers.

But I have already registered/created the users. So the trigger has to be something else.

Since I have already assigned all users to a country [cb_country] (before installing auto action plugin), is there a way for putting users in groups with a better trigger.

So I got this to work using the trigger onAfterUserUpdate - but this trigger only work on the front-end? What about a back-end user update?

There's a separate profile update trigger for backend and frontend. You need to use onAfterUserUpdate and onAfterUpdateUser to cover profile update on both backend and frontend.

The triggers I provided in my last reply are for profile edit. Editing a user and saving them will fire any action with those triggers.

You asked for registration usage, I provided that. You asked for profile update usage, I provided that. Now neither are what you need? Please clarify exactly what you're wanting to do.

What I am asking for is a trigger that does not require updating/changing the user field since that is already set. Thanks for your patience.

Then you need to use onAfterUserUpdate and onAfterUpdateUser. It will fire when the profile is updated whether you changed the field or not. Just save their profile and your action will fire. If your condition then matches it'll execute whatever action you selected.
