[SOLVED] Avatar Sizes Since CB Connect

[SOLVED] Avatar Sizes Since CB Connect was created by moozarkgrl
I've only been using the Facebook connection.

When I look at the images files, there is a big difference in images from FB sizes.
However, I also noticed lots of different sizes for thumbnails even on ones I uploaded for example users.

So, my question is:

What are the standards normally for CB images and avatars for BOTH canvas and avatar - and where can they be modified?
Is there a different sizing process when canvas and avatar come over from FB than there is through CB upload Image?
I can manually make changes to the images already here, but would like a "standard" in place from here on.

(The images that came with the original installation have long been deleted so I can't compare sizes.....)

You can globally change image sizes within CB > Configuration > Images or individually on a per usage basis by editing the avatar or canvas field within CB > Field Management. Note the defaults for both fields have likely been set so you likely will need to edit those image fields.

No, CB Connect uses the field parameters or the global parameters as needed.

I can manually make changes to the images already here, but would like a "standard" in place from here on.

Then you need to adjust the "Maintain Aspect Ratio" parameters to force the images to be a standard size.

There is no default setting, and they have been changed so many times. What are the system defaults on a clean installation for CB images and avatars - that was my question.

And after defaults are set, will it apply to existing images or are the settings only applied during upload?
