[SOLVED] Avatar Sizes Since CB Connect

Thank you sooooo much! What about the image settings in CB configuration? Are they for the photo uploads and have nothing to do with avatar and canvas sizes?

The avatar settings are the default for the global image parameters and for image fields. The canvas settings are specifically defaults for the canvas field only. All of which can of course be changed. CB Gallery has its own size parameters as does GJ Photos. Aside form that I don't understand what you're asking. CB Connect uses the global image settings IF the avatar field or canvas field (depends on which is being synchronized) don't have their override parameters supplied.

So the Avatar settings are also the default settings for image fields like User Photo Uploads, correct?

These are my current settings regarding images in Community Builder, GroupJive, and Gallery

CB Global Image Configuration:
Max IH 1280 Max IW 640
Max TH 220 and Max TW 110

CB Field Level Configuration for Canvas:

CB Field Level Configuration for Avatar:

GroupJive, Global Image configuration:

CB Gallery Global Image Configuration:

Which configuration takes precedence when the values are different? Global or the extension?

The global settings are only used if the image field doesn't supply any size settings. The defaults can be found below

Plugins like CB Gallery and GJ Photos have their own settings and their own default values. It's up to the plugin if it wants to fallback to global. It doesn't particularly matter though because you've values supplied for each so the globals aren't going to be used.
