All of a sudden the Core Field Ajax function is no longer working on my site ? I use it in a list for one field. Nothing happens when I click the field value in the list ?? This has been working earlier and I have not changed anything regarding this..

Press F12 to open your browsers developer console. Select the Console tab then refresh the page. Now see if there are any fatal (in red) errors present, which could be causing the ajax jQuery to stop working. I am unable to confirm your issue so it appears likely to be a JS error or a configuration problem. Please ensure CB and CB Core Fields Ajax are both up to date.

Seams to be working perfectly fine in my tests and on the demo site. There's no reason for it to suddenly stop working unless something was changed to break it. Please PM backend super administrator login credentials and will take a look.

Have reviewed your install and it's because you've set "Show on Profile Edit" to "No". You've turned off the edit view for the field so it of course can't ajax as it has no edit access. Note the parameter description for ajax access as follows.
"Select view access level for ajax usage on userlists view. Note access is still subject to profile edit permissions."
