Ensure CB Privacy is up to date with latest build. I'm not able to reproduce your issue. If privacy rules are not enabled for that field CB Privacy won't touch it. Try unpublishing the Profile Privacy field and see if that resolves your issue if issue persists after updating. Also check to see if you enabled privacy controls for the tab the formatname field is on.
