No there is no condition. I don't understand how it is working fine as the user can not update with a new product addition.

Please PM backend super user login credentials (see link in signature to directly PM me) and will take a look. I'm unable to reproduce your issue across 3 test installs so am unsure what's causing the problem, but sounds like maybe an issue with the JS side of things when generating the new rows in the field group during profile edit.

Was able to confirm a bug in core CB causing this. Your install has been updated and patched for the bug. Have confirmed it works fine now. Have created a bug ticket to include the fix in the next build release of CB.
