Looks like you had a broken CB Package Installer plugin in CB > Plugin Management. That's supposed to clean itself up, but if something breaks that process it won't and can cause some wonky behavior (a fix for this will come later since it should be an uncommon issue). I've uninstalled it and everything seams fine now. Please let me know if you have this issue again.
