How can I change the black border to white? 

The background of the media container is not black unless that has already been changed by your CSS. It's likely the black box bars for the video as videos aren't squared while the container is. Where are these videos coming from? YouTube or uploaded?

And is it possible to add the video title? The title only comes up when you hover the mouse over it.  

The title is displayed via hover. Use CSS to get rid of the hover behavior and always display it if you want it always displayed.

The videos are coming from youtube, so what can I do with the black borders?

I have just beeen looking  at the css for the video title.

Do I need to change this line of coding?
.cb_template .galleryModalDisplay:hover .galleryModalInfo {
    display: block !important;
}

If so, do I change it in user.css? 

Can't do anything about them. That's the thumbnail YouTube provided. The black bars are a part of the image itself.

It uses opacity to show/hide. The footer has the cbCanvasLayoutFooter class on it in addition to cbCanvasLayoutHoverShow. Review the CSS applied and adjust the opacity in your own custom CSS to force opacity back to 1. You can then add your custom CSS to CB using CSS overrides feature shown below.
