Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, I figured the rest of that out.
My next question: Is there a way to show two fields side by side on a tab? I've got a link to a form, then the completion date of that form. I'd like to put them side by side or show the description next to the query field with a link in it. See screenshot, that is how it is now.

Yes, you can use a Custom HTML field for that and substitute the two fields in or you can use the layout parameters of one of those fields to substitute in the other field. See the below tutorial on how to use substitutions.
Alternatively you could write some CSS to display them side by side as they're just divs inside of a container div so using flexbox for example you can display them side by side as well.
