Yes. Two distinct payments with two different transaction ID's and different payment baskets on two different days.

Please update CBSubs to version 4.8.1+build.2025.08.27.21.56.07.a5d6c894e. Once done within your Stripe account Developer > Workbench update your account API. Next in Developer > Webhooks update the version for your webhooks. Both should be latest. Your webhooks are versioned as 2020 so those need to be updated. This will ensure you've latest fixes and latest APIs are coming through.

Looking at the payment logs it looks like 2 individual payments in CBSubs. 1 was a manual renewal and 1 was an auto recurring payment. However do you see 2 transactions in your Stripe account from this customer?

If there's only 1 transaction at Stripe this may be due to your webhook version being so out of date causing the wrong information to be available for CBSubs Stripe to process. If that's the case this will be fixed with the above then edit their subscription in CBSubs > Subscription (click the # in the ID column) and fix their subscription expiration date to remove that extra renewal.

There are two payments from the user in Stripe.

Then this oddly seams intentional. It's 2 payments with 2 different baskets. 1 was from a credit card and 1 was from auto recurring. Has the customer said anything about double billing or is it just something you noticed?

Apparently he complained to the client and they took it up with me.

We had a similar situation recently where someone renewed with Stripe, the auth didn't get done immediately and they manually renewed, then the auth code came through and they actioned that payment (thinking it was related to their manual payment) resulting in two payments.
