A few problems with uddeIM 2.1

I am having a few problems getting uddeIM to work 100%. I am able to get most files uploaded and have a working messaging system, but not to a 100%. When I upload some of the plugins I get this error.

[code:1]Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.[/code:1]

I looked in those zips, there are no XML files. Also can't save anything regarding uddeIM via admin. Show this error on the admin side. (Compenents->uddIM)

[code:1]JFTP::write: Bad response[/code:1]

Any help would be appreciated.

1. Please check the FAQ how to install CB plugins.
2. "Bad response" is a Joomla error and not a uddeIM problem.

I have read the readme file. Shouldn't there be a XML file in the zip files? The zips that I get an error from, does not have XML files.

We are talking about what zip files? All installable files contain Joomla or CB readable XML files.

I see the XML file now, sorry about that. I have no idea why I can't get these files uploaded.

I have no set quato on file size(disc space) on my server. I have unzipped the uddeIM_2.1_unzip1st.zip file. Got most of the files installed. Only the above files are not installing.

How have you uploaded the files?
