Uddeim "nn" issue

Hi,

I have 3 questions for you regarding formatting issues:

1) the "nn" issue... I am seeing weird "n"s and "nns" in certain messages...

ex:

You have a pending connection from Dave!

NOTE: This is a message generated automatically by the Connections system. It has the connecting user's address, so you can conveniently reply if you wish to.nnDave is requesting to connect with you and requires your approval. Please accept or deny the connection request accordingly. Glue Master included the following personal message:n

I saw a forum post that directed another user to the link below for a fix...

I'm on uddeim 2.6, CB 1.8, and J 2.5.3

There are already some threads about this issue containing workarounds.

In the next version the PMS plugin will have an option to fix this.

As I mentioned in my post, I have read the other threads but I'm still confused as to how to fix the issue. Its not clear to me. Perhaps the other folks in the threads were more advanced....

I have to believe that maybe there was some private messaging in there? Seems like a lot was skipped because I still have no idea how to fix the problem.


I assume from your last comment there is a fix out thee but based on this thread I can't determine where it is and how to apply it. Please, provide a link to the fix and a quick description on how to apply it.

I've been looking at the files, but there are a number of them that link to this page... If you could pinpoint the file names for me and actions to take I am sure I can apply that methodology in the future and not have to ask these questions.

I see the following code in the 2152 file, but I am not sure how to apply it or where to find the proper instructions through these links.

When I select the php and xml file I am redirected to a page where I can download the whole file: "Links to HEAD: (view) (download) (annotate)"
